Community Underwriting signs on to the CEO Pledge
Community Underwriting is one of the first underwriting agencies in Australia to sign up to the CEO Pledge – an insurance industry initiative to demonstrate our commitment to a culture where inclusive behaviours are the norm and where everyone is accepting of diversity.
The CEO Pledge requires us to commit to ensure that when interacting with employees, everyone can expect to:
- be treated with respect, courtesy and dignity
- be treated in a manner free from discrimination and objectification
- not be harasssed, bullied or victimised
- be dealt with in an honest, transparent and legal way
The initiative was first introduced into the London insurance market by Lloyd’s and has received commitment from more than 100 insurance organisations.
