A resource to help Not for Profits manage the impact of Data Breach Laws
From 1 January 2018, small businesses in NSW are eligible for a stamp duty exemption on their insurances if the meet the criteria set out by the NSW government. From the products that Community Underwriting offers to its Not for Profit clients', it applies to professional indemnity insurance (other than malpractice), public and products liability and commercial motor vehicle insurances.
Each year Community Underwriting allocates 5% of our surplus to a small grants pool available to our renewing clients to apply against specific projects.

All of our clients do wonderful work across the sector and it is difficult job judging the grant applications. We grew the pool from 19 grants in 2014 to 22 in 2015 and hope to be able to keep increasing this as Community Underwriting grows each year.
